Bellies in Bloom was ‘born’ from Clothesline Clothing Company in 2006. Owner Karin Klem repeatedly heard from new moms that they needed needed more choice in stylish maternity clothes at a reasonable price. Karin found a number of suppliers that weren't well represented in Victoria, so our bricks and mortar store appeared on the scene and is still going strong. We expanded onto the web in 2008, but found our stride there in 2011 with the help of special promotions we did with our wonderful supplier Milkscreen.

We pride ourselves on finding great products for you in maternity and nursing wear, baby clothing and related accessories. We try to find the best products in Canada, but we have also connected with exceptional companies like Boob Designs in Sweden and Bella Materna in the U.S. who truly offer the best products in their class. As a result of our tight focus, you will find exceptional customer service at Bellies in Bloom. We know our product inside and out and will give you an honest opinion (“here, try this instead”).

We don’t take ourselves too seriously, so you’ll find a fun and friendly staff always willing to help. Here is a short introduction to our staff.

	Karin owns the store and keeps everyone smiling. She has 3 kids of her own, and her passion for all things about pregnancy and baby really stand out. Being pregnant was an outstanding life moment for Karin, so now she wants to share your incredible moment too.
	Becki is significantly wiser and informed than her tender years suggest. Newly married, we'll see what's in store for Becki and her husband Jeff. Cheerful and web-aware (our voice on Twitter and Facebook), many customers have commented on how helpful Becki is!
	Doug keeps the back office running, including point of sale, website, online store, accounting, business advice and store repairs. He's also got a day job (somebody needs to pay for all this stuff)! You'll see him picking up the mail and joining us at trade shows.
